I Gave Birth to Myself!

By September 2, 2018 Workshop Clips, Watch

This weeks video was filmed on my recent 4-day retreat in Hungary. It’s a great example of what can happen when we courageously stay with whatever fears are arising, without running away or closing down: as the contractions release we reclaim our energy to shine our authentic beauty into life. “I gave birth to myself!” she says (5:40). So beautiful.

RAVISHING!! That’s the word that came to mind on receiving this. So I thought I’d check the meaning, and found this definition…

adj. mid-14c., “ravenous;” early 15c., “enchanting;” present participle adjective from ravish (v.). The figurative notion is of “carrying off from earth to heaven.” Related: Ravishingly.

So… carrying off from earth to heaven. Woohoo. Thank you 😄 X x x

“Carrying off from earth to heaven” I like that! 🙂
Your comment reminds me of a friend’s poem that has the line, “Being ravished by silence”
      Love you Melissa. Enchanting xxx
